We welcome graduate and undergraduate students, as well as postdoctoral researchers, who are interested in biosensing and materials science.
Current Openings
We are now recruiting postdoctoral fellows and research assistants. We look for candidates with:
- Disciplinary background — chemistry, materials science, applied physics, electronic / microelectronic engineering, or a related field
- Programming skills — proficiency in Python or a similar language, with the ability to independently carry out experimental data processing and automated measurements
- Machine learning — familiarity with machine-learning methods and a strong interest in applying them to sensor-signal analysis and intelligent diagnostics
Research topics span:
- Wearable Electrochemical Sensors for health monitoring
- 2D Materials Synthesis (graphene, TMDs, hBN) by CVD
- Graphene Field-Effect Transistor Biosensors for disease diagnostics
- van der Waals Heterostructures for next-generation electronic devices
Prospective PhD students: outstanding candidates may be nominated for the Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme (HKPFS). The scheme's deadline falls at the beginning of December each year — please reach out well in advance.
